The differences between Pay Per Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are extremely high, and behind them are different techniques and processes.
PPC – Pay Per Click
The results are paid results and most of the time, and they are displayed above organic results with much greater visibility and getting much more clicks than organic results.
By creating PPC campaigns, a company will pay for each person who will click on the ad created.
The ad is just the visible part, but behind a good ad that attracts through the text used, there are carefully chosen keywords, extensions, targeting by location, age, sex, time or device used. PPC promotion campaigns generate results from the early days of implementation, but require consistent investment.
SEO – Search Engine Optimization
The SEO site naturally climbs the first page in Google, a position that has a tremendous impact on traffic coming to it.
For a site to be on the front page, it needs optimization on both page and off page.
If the PPC promotion results are visible from the first day, in the case of SEO, the results appear in time, but the costs are much lower.
Although the differences are major, the objectives are the same, it is only at your discretion how patient you can be about the results, but using SEO and PPC campaigns in parallel is the key to success.
